Plan a Route Before You Set Off
If you decide to drive on a journey with a friend or family member as practice before your test we highly recommend that you plan the route before you set off. Take a few minutes to look on the internet or at a map to familiarise yourself with any junctions, roundabouts or dual carriageways that you may encounter on your way. This will help you to pre-empt any potential hazards, and reduce the risk of confusion and accidents.Whether you are taking your driving lessons in Crossgates, Cottingley or Garforth, we suggest you take your practice sessions further afield, in order to benefit from a fuller driving experience. Planning your route will help you to familiarise yourself with a range of different roads and environments, and you can even ask your driving instructor for tips as to which areas are the best in which to practice.
