Motorway Lessons

At the moment, it is still illegal for those who have not yet passed their test to drive on motorways. This means that many people who have newly passed their test find their first motorway experience rather intimidating. That’s why we offer our students the opportunity to have a motorway lesson after they have passed their test. In this way, we can teach you how to enter and exit busy motorways with confidence, how to change lanes, and about the kinds of hazards that you should look out for.

Particularly if you are accustomed to taking your driving lessons on the quieter roads around Kippax, Ledston and Micklefield, we would strongly recommend you spend a couple of hours familiarising yourself with the motorways with the help of a qualified and experienced driving instructor.

Just taking one motorway lesson with one of our driving instructors will make a notable difference to your perception of and confidence on motorways, and we believe that it significantly reduces the risk of accidents amongst new drivers.
